Transfer Controller
Are you looking to become a resident controller within one of our vACCs?
Transfer Policies:
All members wishing to transfer to one of our vACCs are subject to the following policies:
- Global Ratings Policy (GRP)
- Transfer & Visiting Controller Policy
- VATMENA Membership Policy
Transferring to VATMENA
Members shall send a transfer request to the Membership Department via helpdesk.vatsim.me if they are part of VATEUD, VATSSA, VATUK, VATIL, or VATRUS.
Members outside of EMEA should first request a regional transfer via my.vatsim.net.
vACC Assignment within VATMENA
Once your transfer to VATMENA has been finalized you will need to request to be assigned to one of our vACCs via helpdesk.vatsim.me. Once the request is approved you will receive a welcome introduction on that same ticket in regards to information for your chosen vACC and its contact details.
Local Training
Members shall contact their vACCs ATC Training department in order to get started with their ATC training and be given the relevant steps required to get started on the network.
Visiting Controller
Looking to stay in your current Division/vACC as a resident but interested in visiting in the Middle East?

Active vACCs
Controllers interested in visiting in one of our active vACCs shall apply through the vACC directly by sending a ticket directly on their local websites or by sending a ticket/email to the relevant vACC staff members.
VATMENA does not directly handle visiting requests for its active vACCs. -
OpenSkies
Controllers interested to in airspaces which are part of our OpenSkies program shall meet the requirements outlined in the VATMENA OpenSkies policy. These airspaces include: Algiers, Beirut, Damascus, N'djamena, Niamey, Tunis, Sanaa, and Tripoli.
Once a member has met the requirements they may apply through helpdesk.vatsim.me by sending a ticket to the ATC department. -
Flight Service Stations
Controllers interested to control Gulf Control (GULF_FSS), North Africa Control (AFRN_FSS), and East Africa Control (AFRE_FSS) shall meet the requirements outlined in the VATMENA Flight Service Station policy.
Once a member has met the requirements they may apply through helpdesk.vatsim.me by sending a ticket to the ATC department.
